Architectural photo features ornate cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral, UK. You may be wondering why there is a huge green rock sittingΒ inside these cloisters. Well, so didΒ I when I arrived! It was all part of an art exhibition being held at the cathedral. It was surreal and at the same time wonderful to see art sculptures scattered around in all sorts of different locations. However, in this particular shot I think it was in the way, but I didn’t want to clone it out simply because of it’s unusualness. Hopefully I will return again to get a ‘clean’ shot, but then again they will probably have a different exhibition on!!
WOWSERS!
thanks Micki Aston π

I just love those long hall ways in these cloisters…. If I were you I’d go back there to do a shoot without the “art” on the floor! hahahah great shot!
yes I know what you mean!! and yes it is on the ‘to do’ list, but it’s getting infinitely long… lol
hehehehhe I have the same problem… just as soon as I stripe some project off two or three new ones get added… same goes for our “travel list”…
haha – maybe reincarnation would be a good thing…. if it allows us to get another life full of photography – as there is too much to see in one lifetime lol…
Wonderful shot, great angle! Really has to be viewed large to see all the great details.
thanks Mary Loughlin γ;-) hope you have a lovely day!
